Déniz

Vivien Déniz (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria, 1998) is a multidisciplinary artist. Her practice spans performance, writing, installation, and art direction, through which she explores the body as a political and poetic space. Her work addresses themes such as dissidence, precarity, desire, and memory from a queer and intersectional perspective.

She has developed projects such as FAKK KKK and La Stanza: tu amor fue mi bandera, where she explores the relationship between identity, archive, and presence. She is co-founder of Haus of Otherness, a platform dedicated to dissident artistic practices. In 2026, she publishes La condena de las torres bellas, her first book, a hybrid work combining writing, archive, and performance, proposing the book as a living device activated through encounters with the audience and space.
