The2.am is not conceived as a studio, but as a way of creating and working. It was founded in 2021 by Marina Mendoza Sarmiento and Alejandro Fleitas Valido.

Both trained as architects at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with academic stays at the Politecnico di Torino. Marina Mendoza further specialised in management and interior design, while Alejandro Fleitas focused on restoration and rehabilitation.

Their work is grounded in identifying what is essential and defining strategies tailored to each context. The2.am develops both private and public projects, ranging from new buildings to interventions on existing structures.
