Teodoro Jiménez Pozo (Telde, Gran Canaria, 1994), also known as Ateo Ménez, is a rapper and writer. His project began in 2014, but it wasn’t until late 2024 that he decided to give it a more professional direction with the release of an EP titled Cotufas, roscas y flores de millo. His lyrics are rooted in Canarian reality, idiosyncrasy, costumbrismo, and social critique.

He was part of the music collective Pink Island Collective between 2019 and 2021. Since he started, he has performed in various venues and events such as Lava Circular, Fábrica La Isleta, and Sala Faro. Although rap is his comfort zone, he shows strong versatility, exploring other styles within electronic music as well as more melodic approaches.
