Samuel Aguilar (Arrecife, Lanzarote, 1975) is a composer. He has created ambient music for a wide range of public and private spaces, as well as original scores for documentaries, feature films, advertising, short films, audiovisual installations, and opera, theatre, and dance productions.

With numerous releases to his name, his constant curiosity has led him to collaborate with artists as diverse as Brian Eno, Stephan Micus, Suso Saiz, Fabiola Socas, and Christian Wallumrød. He has initiated and been part of several musical projects and has received commissions from institutions such as the Canary Islands International Music Festival and the Tenerife Contemporary Music Festival. He has also taken part in artistic residencies at contexts including Festival Keroxen and AP Gallery. Alongside his creative work, he teaches composition at a conservatory and is involved in cultural production through projects such as the Lanzarote Visual Music Festival and the Ateneo de La Laguna.
