PYA.collective

PYA.collective was founded in 2021 in Gran Canaria as a platform for thought and action around landscape and architecture, with a strong Atlantic identity. It is formed by a multidisciplinary network that includes landscape architect Andrea Díaz, architects José Carlos Ceballos and Silvia Montesdeoca, biologist and landscape architect Javier Rubio, and geographer Samuel Moreno, enabling a transversal reading of the contexts in which they work.

The collective understands territory as a metabolic system and develops projects linked to circular economy processes, conceiving each commission as an active agent of environmental regeneration. Their work has received international recognition, including awards at Europan (E17 and E18) and the First Prize at Agorà Design (Italy), and has been presented at key forums such as Fuori Salone in Milan and the Mediterranean Landscape Biennale.
