Paula Calavera Candela (Ceuta, 1989) is a painter and mural artist. She moved to Tenerife at the age of four, where she currently lives and works. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the ULL and has been developing her professional artistic practice since 2014.
Her work is rooted in painting and focuses on themes of intimacy and identity, approached through figurative abstraction and expressionism, with a perspective that addresses female empowerment and awareness of territory. Her work as an urban artist has taken her to countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Germany, and Cape Verde, positioning her as a reference in contemporary urban painting in the Canary Islands. She has her studio at Agüita Arte Contemporáneo in Tenerife, collaborates regularly with Sala de Arte La Panera, and is a member of the cultural association Trashlab, where she promotes projects linked to urban art, sustainability, and artistic education for young people.
