Patricia Uriarte (Basque Country, 1999) is a textile artist based in Tenerife, specializing in embroidery. She spent her childhood between the Basque Country and the Canary Islands, moving permanently to Tenerife at the age of 13. She later studied Fashion Design at IED Madrid, where she discovered embroidery as a means of expression. She went on to train at École Lesage in Paris, where she deepened her knowledge of haute couture embroidery, refining her technique and gaining a close understanding of the craft’s traditions.

After her time in Paris, she returned to the Canary Islands and co-founded Ajuar with a collaborator, a living studio that explores themes ranging from domestic work to art, from the intimate to the shared, and from the feminine to the political.
