Octavio Esteva Navarro (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria, 1958) is a painter whose work is inspired by the force of nature and color. In his practice, the rigor of a long legal career coexists with the freedom of the studio, a space where thought and silence are transformed into color, texture, and chromatic horizons as languages of personal abstraction. His approach moves away from fixed rules, embracing an organic form of creation shaped by flow, chance, and intuition.

His work has been presented in solo exhibitions at CICCA, Espacio Cultural S/T, Arte Tinamar, Sala Néstor (RCNGC), and ICALPA, as well as in group exhibitions at venues such as Ateneo de Madrid and Sala de Arte Club La Provincia, among others. Informed by the legacy of artists such as Lola Massieu and Millares, and by the gestural language of Pollock and Frankenthaler, his work seeks a poetic dialogue between matter, light, and introspection.
