Lisardo
Nicolás Lisardo (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria, 1978) is a visual artist and contemporary sculptor. He completed his studies in Art and Design at Escola Eina de Barcelona in 2009, where he began to develop a critical view of society through form and artifice. His work, focused on architectural sculpture and model construction, uses space and material as vehicles for social reflection. From his early wall-based pieces, he has evolved toward more rigorous and formal three-dimensional work.
In 2019 he began collaborating with Galería Manuel Ojeda, exhibiting nationally. In 2013 he published his first book, Neodramatismo. Since 2021 he has taught at art schools, and since 2024 he has worked with the Swiss gallery Laurent Marthaler, taking part regularly in art fairs in the United States. His work is included in both public and private collections.
