Nicolás Barreto (La Laguna, Tenerife, 1995) studied graphic design and photography at the University of La Laguna and the Accademia di Brera en Milá. He later completed a master’s degree in editorial design at Elisava in Barcelona, where he currently teaches the Self-Publishing course. In 2019 he joined the team at Apartamento, where he was responsible for the design of nine issues of the magazine, internationally recognized as one of the most influential interior publications, and 31 books on architecture, art, and design.

Since 2024 he has worked independently, combining editorial design and teaching with consultancy and creative direction for various institutions and artists.
