Pérez Batista
Néstor Pérez Batista (Arrecife, Lanzarote, 1971) is an architect based in Berlin. He studied at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Polytechnic University of Milan, and the Technische Universität Berlin. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with internationally renowned studios such as Sauerbruch Hutton, Renzo Piano/Kohlbecker, and Studio Olafur Eliasson, contributing to projects including Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík and the Serpentine Pavilion in London.
In 2012, he founded his own practice, focused on residential architecture in Germany and Spain. His work explores the relationship between space, light, and territory, maintaining a strong connection to materials and local culture. His projects have been featured in publications such as El País Semanal, Monocle, and AD Spain. He currently combines his professional practice with a PhD at TU Darmstadt.
