Tramunt
Mireia Tramunt (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria, 1991) is a painter and visual artist. Her work is characterized by its poetic charge, a free use of materials and media, large-scale formats, and an abstract language of color. Her work reflects on spaces of intimacy linked to the creative process and on how this process is intertwined with life itself. She continually questions the relationship with territory and the meaning of boundaries and borders, working from the body as a symbolic element through which to understand and move across the contexts that shape her.
She has exhibited in Stockholm, Havana, London, Biarritz, Madrid, Bordeaux, Lisbon, and Barcelona. She has carried out live art actions at festivals and events such as Rhizome Arts (Agadir), TrashPlant Festival (La Palma), and HER Feminist Festival (Tenerife). Her trajectory also includes artist residencies in France, Mexico, and Morocco.
