Matías Mata García (Arrecife, Lanzarote, 1973) also known as Sabotaje al Montaje, is an urban artist and Fine Arts graduate. He began his career in graffiti in 1990 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where he soon gained recognition. Throughout his trajectory, he has combined graffiti, figurative art, and realism with a strong social narrative.

His large-scale murals, found in public spaces and museums across the Canary Islands and in many countries worldwide, stand out for their visual strength and critical content. Often linked to Canarian identity, his work addresses social and collective issues from a reflective perspective. Through his distinctive and committed style, he seeks to foster dialogue and awareness within the communities where he works. He has received several international awards for the social impact of his work.
