María Sosa Betancor (Tafira, Gran Canaria, 1989) is a filmmaker. She has developed her career in Barcelona, where she trained. Throughout her career, she has worked across a range of languages and formats, from fiction and documentary short films to advertising, fashion films and other experimental works, which have shaped her visual style.

She has directed international campaigns for brands such as Nike, Loewe, Adidas, Paloma Wool and Coca-Cola, collaborated with artists including Karol G, Troye Sivan, Anitta and Sen Senra, and her short films have competed at several international festivals. She is currently represented by production companies she works with on a regular basis, including Biscuit (UK and USA), Blur (Spain) and Tony Petersen (Germany).
