Luna Bengoechea Peña (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria, 1984) is a visual artist. Her work centers on the issues surrounding the contemporary food industry, revealing the contradictions of a system sustained by the exploitation of natural resources and dictated by economic power. Her focus on these subjects intensified after a health problem led her to reconsider her own eating habits, integrating that experience into her artistic research.

Throughout her career, she has developed projects that examine the growing disconnection from the origins and provenance of food, working across different media and visual languages. Her work has been shown in numerous national and international exhibitions, including art fairs such as Pinta Miami and Art Taipei. In 2024 she received the Excellence Award from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of the Canary Islands.
