Lucía Pitters Pérez (San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, 1987) is a photographer and visual artist. She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid (2012) and a qualification in Applied Arts to Sculpture from the Fernando Estévez School of Art and Higher Design (2015). Her photographic practice emerges from accident and long exposure, combining the synthetic dimension of the photographic image with the material commitment inherent to sculptural practice. Her work has been exhibited in art spaces and galleries in Tenerife, Málaga, and Berlin, including projects such as Mujeres líquidas (2013–2018) and Nunca antes los no lugares han ocupado tanto espacio (2019–2021).
Since 2017, she has also been involved in teaching at the European University of the Canary Islands, lecturing in the Advertising and Digital Graphic Design degree programs. She is currently completing her doctoral thesis in the Audiovisual Communication, Advertising, and Public Relations program at the UCM.
