Lucas Velasco (Libertad, Argentina, 1999) is a visual artist and graphic designer. He grew up in Fuerteventura and holds a degree in Design from the University of La Laguna, as well as a Master’s in Artistic Production from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. His work explores the construction of landscape through narrative, perception, and the photographic device. In design, he investigates the idea of the editable body, establishing a dialogue between different graphic and referential languages.
His practice spans photography, video, installation, and graphic design. He has exhibited in Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Valencia, Madrid, and Gran Canaria, in exhibitions such as Habitar una isla (2025) and Atlánticas Colectivas (2025), and in the 16th (2021) and 18th (2025) editions of FotoNoviembre. In 2024, he received the Arte i Creativitat Jove Award from the City Council of Valencia.
