Koset Talavera (La Aldea de San Nicolás, Gran Canaria, 1999) is a performing arts creator and performer. She trained at the Escuela de Actores de Canarias (2022) and later completed the Master’s in Theatre Creation directed by Juan Mayorga at Universidad Carlos III of Madrid (2023), where she deepened her engagement with contemporary practices and the relationship between performance and non-conventional formats. In 2024 she founded her company, La Sísmica. She lives and works between Tenerife and different European peripheries.

Her work follows an experimental, performance-based approach, growing across languages and moving along the edges of disciplines. She works through improvisation, the use of objects and collective research, remaining open to forms of creation beyond the traditional stage. She is particularly interested in the encounter between performance, space and communities, creating situations that activate participation and exchange.
