JUIN
JUIN (Tías, Lanzarote, 1990) is a painter and mural artist. He holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of La Laguna and has completed postgraduate studies in Printmaking, Editorial and Advertising Illustration, and Teacher Training.
His work takes the body as a space for reflecting on human thought. Through colour and a direct, gestural mark, he explores emotional states from a free and intuitive approach, combining the intimate and the collective, the symbolic and the visceral, while addressing social issues through a critical and poetic lens. His practice spans mural painting, abstract painting, and illustration.
His work has been shown in exhibitions such as Onironauta (2018), Salsa Rosa (2023), and Tú también has llovido (2025), as well as at the 10th Lanzarote Art Biennial and the Plataforma Caníbal residency (Colombia, 2023). He is a co-founder of Colectivo Desidia, through which he promotes urban art projects in Lanzarote.
