Juan José Valencia (San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, 1980) is an artist, curator, and editor working with network-based projects. He holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of La Laguna. He is currently president of Tenerife Pipa Club and director and editor of Ateneo Crítico, a platform through which he promotes editorial and cultural projects.

His work brings together artistic practice, editing, and curatorial activity. In 2025, he took part in the group exhibition Rebeldía y disciplina at TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes, as part of a multi-curatorial framework developed by the institution, and published his poetry book with Editorial Oblivium. That same year, he edited ¿Qué pasa Steve? and Books I and II in images by Juan José Valencia. In 2024, he released the album Coconuit the Fruit with Payo Pekín and presented the solo exhibition El pacto del reloj at the Parque García Sanabria exhibition hall. He has also participated in collective publications and international residencies, including Water Tower Art Residency (Burgas, 2022).
