Febles
Jorge Gallardo Febles (La Laguna, Tenerife, 1994) also known as Jhon Boy, is an illustrator and visual developer. His work sits at the intersection of illustration, digital imagery, and creative coding, with a strong connection to comics and visual storytelling as a means of dialogue with the viewer. Through a minimalist approach and mixed techniques, mainly digital and mural, he creates contemporary scenes that invite reflection.
He has lived in Antwerp, where he studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, and in Turin, where he worked as an illustrator. He has collaborated with international brands and studios such as Uniqlo, Frama, Wix, Ace & Tate, Illo.tv, and Clase BCN. Awarded at the D&AD Portfolio Awards (2023) and supported by a VEGAP grant, his work has been featured in It’s Nice That, Esquire, and Hypebeast, and exhibited at Noorderlicht Parade, Hybrid Art Fair, and Urvanity Art Fair.
