Irene León (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria, 1985) is a visual artist. Her work moves between mural painting, illustration, and studio-based practice. She holds a degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s in Artistic Production (Art and Technology) from the Universitat Politècnica de València, and has furthered her education through international studies at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht.

In her work, Irene explores the relationship between the organic and the mechanical, nature, memory, and childhood as a symbolic space. She has developed public art projects and participatory processes, particularly in educational and social contexts, and has presented her work in national and international exhibitions and programs across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. In 2018, she received the First Prize at the Gran Canaria Series Graphic Art Award.
