Hisla
Hisla
Hisla is a multidisciplinary, non-profit collective founded in 2020 after several years of collaboration between its members. Formed by Canary Islands creatives working in design, photography and video, including Octavio Barrera, Dani Millán, Ampi Aristu, Aythami Santana and Iván Santana, it was established as a shared platform for project development.
The collective works on both self-initiated projects and collaborative initiatives with institutions, groups and associations, assembling specific teams according to each proposal. Its practice brings together creative disciplines with fields such as architecture, agriculture and craft, approached from a contemporary perspective and rooted in the territory. Hisla places a strong emphasis on research and conceptual development as the foundation for projects with a significant sociocultural dimension.
