Francisca Rubio Wenk (Córdoba, Argentina, 1999) is a visual artist. She moved to Tenerife at the age of two and studied Fine Arts at the University of La Laguna. Her work is rooted in traditional embroidery understood as an artistic practice, through which she constructs narratives and gives form to untold stories. Her research unfolds across several thematic lines, including the exploration of the idea of the seemingly safe home, the LBD imaginary, and the attempt to weave together the everyday and the transcendent, a line of inquiry initiated during her time at Ungría Residency.
Her work has been exhibited in Madrid and Tenerife in spaces and contexts such as Sala de Arte Contemporáneo (SAC, 2022), Hybrid Art Fair (2024), Phe Gallery (2024), Ungría Residency (2024), Estudio 07 (2024), Mal Estado (2025), Feria Hualle (2025), La Limonera (2025), and Espacio La Panera (2025).
