Fernando López Sánchez (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria, 1990) is an architect who graduated from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where he completed a double specialization in Building and Urban Planning in 2014. In 2015 he received his first professional commission, Casa en el Puerto de Las Nieves, a project awarded in the residential category at the first Miguel Martín Fernández de la Torre Prize, granted by the Official College of Architects of Gran Canaria to outstanding works built between 2007 and 2018. The project was also selected by Spain’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda for the digital collection of the Casa de la Arquitectura and has been featured on specialized platforms such as Divisare, Archilovers, and Interiores Minimalistas.
His work approaches each commission with equal care, addressing the client’s needs and the specific context of the site, with the aim of creating architecture that is rigorous, sensitive, and closely connected to its surroundings.
