equipo olivares arquitectos is an architecture studio founded in 1999 and led by Javier Pérez-Alcalde Schwartz (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife, 1965), a technical architect trained at EUAT La Laguna and an architect from ULPGC, and Fernando Aguarta García (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife, 1972), architect from ULPGC. The team also includes the regular collaboration of technical architect José Floreal Martínez.

Their work has been recognised in several editions of the Oraá Architecture Awards in the Canary Islands: the Los Alisios Parish Centre and the single-family homes C&E and Ca’Paco were finalists in 2006 and 2008; CasaChris received a special mention in the 2008–2017 edition, in which the projects 27 VPO in La Caridad and the Ca’Diego single-family home were also finalists. More recently, Casa MaMa was awarded Best Built Single-Family Home 2018–2020.

Their projects have been widely featured in digital platforms, magazines and books on architecture and interior design, consolidating their presence within the architectural landscape of the Canary Islands.
