Elián Gimelli (Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, 2001) is a Barcelona-based director of photography. He specializes in creating high-impact images with a strong visual identity. His approach combines the clarity and precision of digital formats with the imperfections of analog language, often incorporating vintage lenses and technical interventions to give his images a distinct character.

His style is defined by contrasted atmospheres, a pronounced use of shadow, and a natural inclination toward cooler color palettes, while remaining versatile enough to adapt to brighter, more dynamic visual worlds typical of advertising. He began his career in fiction but has gradually shifted his focus toward advertising and, especially, music videos, a format in which he finds greater creative freedom and space to develop more daring, author-driven visual proposals.
