Elena Marrero Betancor (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria, 1986) is a curator and cultural manager, and director of the project El Palmeral. She holds a degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s in Museology from the University of Granada. She began her professional career at the Museo Sorolla in Madrid, where she gradually specialized in the museum field.

In November 2024, she launched El Palmeral, an exhibition project in constant evolution that aims to give voice and visibility to artists, particularly those from the Canary Islands context.
