Elena García (San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, 1985) is a cultural manager, event producer, and director of Espacio Lapanera. She studied Art History at the University of La Laguna and completed a Master’s degree in the Art Market at Nebrija University (Madrid). She began her professional career in contemporary art galleries in Madrid, where she gained experience across different areas of the art market. Between 2012 and 2020, she was responsible for coordinating Art Madrid Contemporary Art Fair, further consolidating her experience in cultural event management and production.

In late 2024 she opened Lapanera, an exhibition space in La Laguna that presents “freshly baked artistic proposals,” a reference to the former family bakery that once occupied the space. Through this project she aims to strengthen Tenerife’s artistic and cultural ecosystem. Among her recent work is the curatorship of You Too Have Rained. How to Move Through Pain, a solo exhibition by artist JUIN in Lanzarote.
