Derek Pedrós (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife, 1985) is a photographer and filmmaker based in Madrid. His work focuses on dance and architecture, developing international projects for advertising agencies, architecture studios, fashion brands, public institutions, and dance companies, among others.

His practice unfolds as a continuous search for the intangible, at the intersection of movement, dance, and architecture. He is drawn to the poetic tension that emerges between the ephemeral and the permanent, explored through calmness, restraint, and subtlety. His creative process is never rushed; it takes shape over time and through careful observation. This search culminates in subtraction, an attempt to distill the essence of that interaction and capture what can be sensed but cannot be expressed in words.
