Ruiz Armas
Dailos Ruiz Armas (Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura, 1989) is a multidisciplinary visual artist who holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of La Laguna, where he followed the Transdisciplinary Projects track. In 2017, his installation Monstruos was selected by the Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno (CAAM) as part of the Espacio CV programme. Among his solo exhibitions, 13:30, presented in 2025 at the Centro de Arte Juan Ismael, stands out for its focus on mourning the death of his father and on the construction of affective memory through time and the body.
Through photography, video, and illustration, he develops a poetic language connected to pain, care, and self-care. His work explores corporeality and affective identity, addressing relational, social, and self-esteem tensions from a queer perspective.
