Cristóbal Tabares (Arafo, Tenerife, 1984) is a visual artist with a degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s in Art, Territory, and Landscape from the University of La Laguna. He has participated in art fairs such as Art Miami, Art Room Fair, and ARCO, and has received awards including the Enrique Lite National Painting Prize, the Gas Natural Fenosa Award, and the First Prize at the Padru Painting Biennial in Sardinia.
His work has been featured in group exhibitions such as Jardín satélite, Contra la piel (TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes), La identidad como ficción (La Regenta), and Bad Taste (La Térmica, Málaga). His solo exhibitions include Dientes Dientes (The Fresh Gallery, Madrid), MUYAYO (La Casa de los Coroneles, Fuerteventura), Rojo sobre Rojo (Cabrera Pinto, La Laguna), El lago de los cisnes (Museo Nacional de Escultura, Valladolid), and FIESTA (Centro de Arte El Almacén, Lanzarote).
