Cris Noda (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria, 1980) is a multidisciplinary artist. As her friend Silvia Navarro notes, Cris is a polyhedral being, a prism with many facets that reflect and tension one another. Her artistic work is driven by constant questioning, understood as a persistent force that disrupts and unsettles, like a branch knocking against a window on a windy day.

Her work reflects on power in its many forms: structural, bodily, emotional, abstract, conceptual, symbolic, living and dead. And also on beauty, especially erratic beauty. She works with still imagery, both her own and found images, as well as film, installation and archival practices, exploring their possibilities, displacements and rereadings through a critical and sensitive lens.
