Carlota Mantecón (San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, 1984) is a dancer and creator. Her work explores the intersections between dance and music, sound and movement, and the singular and the collective, inhabiting a liminal and affective space with movement as its core. She believes in spaces of encounter between diverse people that expand our notion of community, grounded in collaboration and shared questioning.

Her work has been presented in museums, festivals, and artistic contexts in Spain, Lisbon, Slovenia, Norway, and the United Kingdom, among others
