Carlos Álvarez Clemente (Tías, Lanzarote, 1990) is an architect, graduated from ETSAM, and holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from KASK Conservatorium (Belgium). His work operates across architecture, art, landscape, and design. After living in Copenhagen, he now develops his practice between Lanzarote and Gran Canaria.

As an artist, he has presented his work at institutions such as CAAM, Matadero Madrid, TABLEAU, and Fotografisk Center. In the fields of architecture and landscape, he works with both public and private clients and has taken part in programmes including Teleclub Lanzarote and the Cabildo of Lanzarote’s programme marking the César Manrique Anniversary. His work has received recognition from the Danish Arts Foundation (Statens Kunstfond), INJUVE, and the Canary Islands Council of Architects, and has been featured in media outlets such as Metrópolis (La 2), Cadena SER, and Neo2. In 2023, he co-founded the landscape studio LA TARDE with Saray Ossorio.
