Carla Garrido (San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, 1993) is an illustrator, graphic designer, and lecturer. She graduated in Design from the University of La Laguna and also holds a Master’s degree in User Experience from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. She works as a freelance designer and illustrator while also teaching in the Design degree programme at the University of La Laguna, where she gives classes on design and illustration techniques.

Her work is connected to themes of equality, diversity, and social issues, expressed through illustrations featuring vivid colours, strong contrasts, and organic forms. She has received both national and international awards for her work in design. Her interest in conveying inspiring messages and her commitment to social justice are central to much of her creative practice.
