Capi Cabrera (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria, 1983) is a visual artist. His work emerges from an intimate relationship with the island landscape and its memory. The sea, ravines, movement and silence of the islands run through a painting that understands colour, gesture and material as emotional languages.

His work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions at leading galleries such as Gema Llamazares (Gijón), Galería Vangar (Valencia) and Galería Manuel Ojeda (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), as well as in public institutions and cultural spaces. He has taken part in national and international art fairs including Just Mad (Madrid), SWAB Barcelona and Context Miami. Through the enjoyment of the act of painting, his work becomes a declaration of love for nature and for painting itself, establishing a poetic dialogue between body, landscape and memory.
