Bright Martins Oluremi (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria, 2002) is a filmmaker and creative director of Nigerian origin, raised between the Canary Islands and the territory where he became a visual storyteller. His work draws from his African roots and from the multicultural context of the archipelago, where he came to understand cinema as a bridge between cultures and a tool for giving dignity to real stories.

He is the author of the short films Hairline and What My Eyes See Now, the latter awarded the Audience Prize at San Rafael en Corto 2025 and selected for the RNE Platino Crowdfunding Award. His work combines lived experience, an intimate visual language and an honest documentary gaze. He is currently based in Madrid, where he continues to develop projects focused on identity, migration and community, while maintaining a strong connection to the Canary Islands, the territory that shapes his way of seeing and telling the world.
