Arturo Rodríguez (Santa Cruz de La Palma, La Palma, 1977) is a documentary photographer and portraitist. He began his career at Agencia EFE and later worked for international media outlets such as Reuters, The Associated Press, and Agence France-Presse. He spent seven years at Associated Press, first based in the Canary Islands and later in Madrid as Deputy Editor for Spain and Portugal. In 2012, he relocated to Thailand, where he continued collaborating with international agencies.

He currently works as an independent photographer for clients including National Geographic and the Smithsonian Institution. His work has covered conflicts, natural disasters, and migration, and has been exhibited in more than thirty countries. His accolades include two World Press Photo awards and a BOP award from the NPPA. He is a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for his home island and the first Spanish photographer to achieve an international cover of National Geographic.
