Ten Hoever

Antonella Ten Hoever (Montevideo, Uruguay, 2000) is a visual artist and tattoo artist. She moved to Tenerife as a child, where she has developed her artistic education and practice. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of La Laguna, specializing in Sculpture, and a Master’s degree in Artistic Production from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

Her work is primarily focused on sculpture and experimentation with a wide range of materials, while also extending into other forms of representation such as oil painting, printmaking, and photography. Her practice engages with reflection and critical awareness of the role of women within patriarchal society, approached from a feminist perspective that emphasizes female empowerment. These concerns are largely materialized through the figurative representation of nude female bodies, understood as sites of resistance, identity, and expression. Alongside her artistic practice, she works as a tattoo artist at Kaeru Atelier.
