Andrea Pérez Sánchez (Telde, Gran Canaria, 2003) is a visual artist, curator, and cultural manager. She graduated in Fine Arts from the Universitat Politècnica de València and later completed a master’s degree in Cultural Management in Barcelona. Her work questions the mechanisms of the image within an insular context, exploring landscape as a social and cultural construction. Through painting, she sustains, dismantles, and reimagines the visible, opening up new ways of reading it.
In her recent work, she focuses on the relationship between archive, cultural identity, and territory through the lens of the tourist imaginary. She received the Infinity Art Emerging Interactive Art Award runner-up prize. As a curator, she has participated in collective projects such as When Senses Become Form (DOS) in Valencia, and contributed to the catalogue of Habitar la salina by Patricia Santana at the Sala de Arte Contemporáneo de Tenerife, with the text Allí donde la sal recuerda.
