Andrea Alvarado (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife, 1992) is a photographer and audiovisual artist. She studied Audiovisual Production and moved to Madrid in 2015 to complete a Master’s in Artistic Projects and Photobooks at BlankPaper. She has a particular interest in editorial work and in the dialogues that emerge between images.

She has taken part in group exhibitions such as Fotonoviembre XIII, Revela’t (Barcelona), and Fermento at La Panera. Her work approaches the image as a sensitive gesture from which to open narratives connected to landscape, belonging, and intimacy, working primarily with analog photography.

She lives between Tenerife and La Gomera, where she develops professional commissions for brands such as Hereu, Diarte, Jimenas, and Inditex. Alongside her commercial practice, she pursues personal and collaborative projects, including Sin palmeras no hay paraíso by Santana Santana and Memory by Hereu. In 2025 she was invited as an artist-in-residence at La Reposera, where she continued developing her audiovisual project.
