Álvaro Mateos (Puerto de Sardina, Gran Canaria, 1993) is an artist, designer, and craftsperson. His work moves across a wide range of projects that combine visual, digital, and audiovisual languages. He began his professional career as a graphic designer and later specialized in audiovisual post-production for film and video games.

He spent several years working in Barcelona, first designing experiences for events and later focusing on packaging design. After returning to Gran Canaria, he shifted toward a more hybrid path, working with tattooing, craftsmanship, martial arts, and painting. His current work is built around experimentation and the crossing of disciplines, integrating manual and visual processes as part of a single creative language.
