Alicia Salcedo Gonzálvez (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria, 1963) is a jeweller and craftsperson. She came to jewellery later in life, beginning her training in 2015 at the workshops of Escola d’Art La Industrial in Barcelona. After being made redundant following twenty-five years working in the financial sector, she underwent a professional shift towards working with her hands while developing her creativity. Jewellery has allowed her to build a personal language closely connected to nature.

She works with a digital pen using bioplastic, applying watercolours and sealing pieces with resin. Through experimentation, she has developed her own technique based on knowledge of traditional jewellery-making. Her work seeks a balance between volume, movement, and dimension, creating pieces that evoke an organic, dreamlike universe where fragility gives way to adaptation, and colour emerges as an optimistic response to an oppressive social context.
