Luzardo

Alejandro Luzardo (Playa Honda, Lanzarote, 1994) is a physician and creative. He understands creativity as a process capable of healing personal history, revealing identity, and building connections between the inner world and others. His work explores anthropological themes such as family, communication, urbanism, and adaptation to the environment from a documentary and biopsychosocial perspective.

After collaborating on projects linked to urban culture and documentary practices, he founded Gatra Collective in 2018, a platform conceived as a catalyst for independent artists, aimed at transforming anonymity into collective authorship through exhibitions and collaborative projects. Since 2020, he has directed Alquemy®, a timeless textile brand that creates pieces rooted in the heritage and context of Lanzarote. In parallel, he develops his work as a photographer and creative for artists within the Canarian urban scene, maintaining a socially engaged and contemporary outlook.
