Alberto del Hoyo (La Orotava, Tenerife, 1979) is a photographer. He holds an International MBA from IEBS, a degree in Business Administration, and formal training in Photography. His curiosity about different forms of cultural expression has led him to travel through remote tribal territories, pursuing a constant search for beauty and the human condition through images.

His photographic work has received international recognition, including First Prize in the Photographic Series category at the Miami Photo Fest International (2019) and Second Prize in Portrait at the Siena International Photo Award (2019). His work was also exhibited at the opening of Art Basel Miami that same year. He currently combines photographic and audiovisual projects. In 2024, he founded the production company Bidiro Dream and will release in 2026 Puntales, a biographical film about wrestler Mahamadou Camara, co-directed with filmmaker Andrés Borges, offering an intimate and deeply human portrayal of the protagonist’s life journey.
