Frutos

Adriana Frutos (La Laguna, Tenerife, 2001) is a conceptual artist trained at the University of La Laguna. Her work begins with walking and observation, adopting the figure of the flâneuse to examine how the rhythms of place and material availability shape situated modes of creation. Her research focuses on vernacular architecture and the history of places, paying close attention to traditional techniques, economies of means, and ways of making rooted in rural contexts, with the aim of fostering affective connections through a locally grounded perspective.

Since 2022, she has presented her work in collaboration with spaces such as Galería Manuel Ojeda, Galería de Arte ULPGC, Phe Gallery, and Fundación Francis Naranjo, and has taken part in artistic residencies at CAAM and Centro de Arte La Regenta.
