Adri Atlántico (Los Llanos de Aridane, La Palma, 1994) is a conceptual and portrait photographer. He trained as a Higher Technician in Plastic Arts and Design in Photography at the EASD Fernando Estévez in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. His work focuses on capturing light around the body, using vivid colors and strong contrasts inspired by his native island. He explores themes such as identity, isolation, and loneliness as a result of the individualization and exploitation of contemporary society, always through a search for tenderness.
He is currently part of the contemporary photography collective and workshop La Guarda (Madrid). Among his exhibitions is Habitar el proceso, a group show at Espacio Tangente (Burgos), as well as the presentation of Restos de un naufragio in publications such as Neo2, Clavo Ardiendo and PAC, a project that reflects on growing up in an insular environment. He has also developed the homonymous exhibition at CC Sara Montiel (Madrid), focused on his analog street photography and portraits.
